Privacy policy
This site is built by people who spend their time complaining about privacy policies, so this one is short and written in normal sentences.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages and products people check. It stores cookies and processes data such as the pages you view, how you arrived and an approximate location. IP anonymisation is switched on, and the data is not used for advertising.
Nothing is stored until you agree. The banner asks first, the default is "denied", and you can decline and still read everything on the site. Your choice is remembered in your browser; clearing site data resets it.
You can also block analytics with any content blocker, or install Google's opt-out browser add-on, without losing access to the site. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not sell data to anyone.
Affiliate links
Purchase links on this site are affiliate links. When you click one, the retailer may set a cookie so that a purchase can be attributed to this site. That cookie is set by the retailer, not by us, and it is governed by their policy. We never receive your name, address or payment details.
If you subscribe to the radar, your address is stored with our email provider for the purpose of sending that newsletter. Every message has a one-click unsubscribe link. We do not rent, sell or share the list, and we do not send anything other than what you signed up for.
Product data
Price data on this site is collected from publicly available product pages and, where available, licensed product APIs. We store prices and timestamps. We do not store information about individual shoppers.
Your choices
You can block analytics with any content blocker without losing access to the site. To have an email address removed, use the unsubscribe link or the contact page, and it will be deleted rather than retained.
